Kami Driving School offers MTO-approved beginner driver education courses to help you get started on the road. Our school is highly recommended by TorontoStar and Trubicars for the quality of instruction. We provide the mandatory 20 hours of classroom lessons, along with 10 hours of in-car driving lessons and an additional 10 hours of driving homework to ensure you're well-prepared. Driving Lessons In-Class
At Kami Driving School, our in-classroom environment is bright, clean, and designed to be both fun and upbeat, while still maintaining an educational atmosphere. We focus on properly preparing our students to become the safest and most skilled drivers they can be. Our Beginner Driver Education courses are available year-round, including weekend and evening classes during the fall and winter. We also offer 4-day holiday classes and weekday courses during the summer holidays. If you miss a session, don't worry—you're welcome to make it up at any point within one year.
In Car Driving Lessons

All in-car lessons are held on a one-on-one basis, ensuring personalized attention for each student. We allow students to take both in-car and in-class lessons simultaneously, helping them complete the driving program faster. 10 lessons are the minimum requirement by Ministry of Transportation for the full course. Whether the mandatory 10 hours are sufficient enough depends on the learning skills of each driver as an individual. If you feel the ten hours were not enough, we also offer additional individual driving lessons as well as packages. Your instructor can tell you about them or you can call our office if after completion you feel the additional hours are needed. Practice makes perfect. The more you have driven the more confident you will be in yourself when it comes to your road test, it is our recommendation to practice at home as well.
Yes, you can join the course any weekday or weekend. Just call our office and we can let you know what day’s classes are running.
You can start the course without your G1, but you must have it by the time you are ready to start your driving lessons.
No, we give you the option of doing your classes and in-car lessons side-by-side or you may begin your in-car lessons after completing the classes. It’s your choice!
